AllianceBernstein Holding LP (AB)
A small, but successful firm. AllianceBernstein has shown a history of following the general financial market. The only difference is they seem to be quite generous when they succeed. Outside of crashes and recessions which they recover from well, they average a 7% dividend yield, however during a bull market they have increased this to up to a 14% yield. Not being a staple financial institution can be fairly risky, however with a deep history, and generosity to its investors, AllianceBernstein can be a very smart addition to your portfolio.

Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN)
Main Street Capital is a small asset management firm with a just under $3 billion market cap. With fairly consistent growth since going public in late 2007, as well as an average over 7% dividends paying every month MAIN is a fairly safe investment, and a good opportunity to earn some small, extra income from this investment.
